Dispenser For Collapsible Tube Contents

View page
US Patent:
45851476, Apr 29, 1986
Filed:
Apr 23, 1984
Appl. No.:
6/602902
Inventors:
Tomasz J. Wodnicki - Metairie LA
International Classification:
B67D 522
B65D 3528
US Classification:
222 50
Abstract:
An improved dispenser for the contents of collapsible tubes is provided in which a pair of opposing squeezers are advanced along two opposing pairs of externally threaded rods within a housing. The squeezers are made of a flexible material such as semi-rigid rubber and are configured such that one end of each squeezer is longitudinally displaced towards the dispensing aperture in the housing and transversely displaced towards the sidewall of the housing. This arrangement causes the squeezers to deform and change profile when the leading edges of the advancing squeezers are stopped prior to the following edges being stopped. The deformation of the squeezers more effectively places pressure on the collapsible tube near the dispensing aperture of the tube and substantially completely dispenses the contents of the tube.

US Patent:
46859942, Aug 11, 1987
Filed:
Dec 12, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/808297
Inventors:
Tomasz J. Wodnicki - Metairie LA
International Classification:
B32B 3118
US Classification:
156517
Abstract:
There have been devices for storing and dispensing postage stamps. These devices have been very complex, bulky devices appropriate for offices where large volumes of mailings are made. There are also small simple devices consisting of a simple cylinder with a slot through which the stamps project for a later manual tearing and licking and placing on letters and parcels. This invention comprises a compact, simple and dependable device which not only stores a roll of stamps but also deploys the stamps individually, moistens the individually deployed stamps just prior to placement on a letter or parcel and severs the just moistened stamp for later pressing in an automatic and sequential fashion. The device includes features which permit each and every stamp to be deployed from the roll down to the very last stamp.
