Sadie Mungro -- Realtor, playwright, mother of three grown children and grandmother of seven children has been a licensed Real Estate Agent serving Northern Virginia for more than a decade. Before getting into real estate, Sadie worked at SRA International in Arlington, Virginia for eight years. Prior to moving to Virginia, she worked at WHYY-TV 12 / 91 FM in Philadelphia, PA. Sadie studied Creative Writing at LaSalle College in Philadelphia, PA and the Philadelphia Community College, Acting and Drama at the Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia, PA; and Acting for Television at Howard University in Washington, DC. Her play, "Aisha," won the Judith Stark Creative Writing Award and went on to be read by the Stage East Repertory Company under the direction of Robert Hightower, at the Philadelphia Black Arts Festival. Her credits include poetry published in American Scenes," an anthology (J Mark Press) and The Philadelphia Tribune newspaper; Articles in the Nationally popular "American Baby" Magazine, PBS Television's "Applause" Magazine, The Philadelphia Tribune newspaper, Contemporary Black Biography (Gale Group) and several community newspapers. Ms. Mungro was the Founding Director of The 7th Street Players of the Seventh Street United Methodist Church (Mid-Town Parish) in Philadelphia, PA. She joined Mount Olive Baptist Church (Arlington, VA) in November, 1995 and was inspired to form the Drama Ministry in 1996. She is currently a member of Manassas Baptist Church and works with the Drama Ministry there. Since 2002, Sadie has successfully assisted home owners and first-time home buyers with all types of real estate transactions, including short-sales, foreclosures and pre-foreclosures. As much as Sadie loves the creative arts, she knew she had found a satisfying career when she was able to help her very first client avoid foreclosure. The home sold in three days and her client was thrilled! After only one year as a Realtor, Sadie won the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors' Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club Award!
