Abstract:
An air filter arrangement for an agricultural combine located on a panel at a side wall of the agricultural combine. The air filter arrangement includes a rotary filter mounted for rotation at a first aperture, a scoop enclosing the rotary filter and blocking substantially all air flow to the rotary filter except at a scoop inlet disposed along an upper edge of the scoop above the rotary filter, and at least one stationary filter disposed to filter air passing through a second aperture in the panel, the stationary filter being located between an upper portion of the rotary filter and the scoop inlet.

Machine Control Using A Map With Regime Zones

View page
US Patent:
20220232763, Jul 28, 2022
Filed:
Jan 27, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/159810
Inventors:
- Moline IL, US
Nathan R. VANDIKE - Geneseo IL, US
Noel W. ANDERSON - Fargo ND, US
International Classification:
A01D 34/00
G05D 1/02
G05D 1/00
Abstract:
A map obtainable by an agricultural harvester contains regime zones with settings resolvers. A plurality of different target actuator settings corresponding to the geographic location of the agricultural work machine are identified. A regime zone is identified based on the geographic location of the agricultural harvester. One of the plurality of different target actuator settings is selected as a resolved target actuator setting based on the settings resolver corresponding to the identified regime zone and is used to control the agricultural harvester.

Agricultural Header Control

View page
US Patent:
20220232770, Jul 28, 2022
Filed:
Jan 22, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/248378
Inventors:
- MOLINE IL, US
NATHAN E. KREHBIEL - BETTENDORF IA, US
NATHAN R. VANDIKE - GENESEO IL, US
MATTHEW T. WOLD - COAL VALLEY IL, US
NOEL W. ANDERSON - FARGO ND, US
DUANE M. BOMLENY - GENESEO IL, US
GURMUKH H. ADVANI - WEST FARGO ND, US
International Classification:
A01D 41/14
A01D 41/127
Abstract:
Systems and methods for controlling agricultural headers based on crop movement relative to a portion of the agricultural header are disclosed. The presence or movement of crop material, such as a crop material representing grain (e.g., ears, heads, or pods of crops (“EHP”)), relative to the harvester header or a portion of the harvester header may be detected, such as by analyzing image data representing one or more images collected over time. Based on a position or movement or both of the crop material relative to the header, one or more parameters of the harvester header may be adjusted, for example, to reduce an amount of grain loss.

Historical Crop State Model, Predictive Crop State Map Generation And Control System

View page
US Patent:
20230107444, Apr 6, 2023
Filed:
Oct 1, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/491794
Inventors:
- Moline IL, US
Eric M. HEIEN - Davis CA, US
Nathan R. VANDIKE - Geneseo IL, US
International Classification:
G06T 17/05
G06T 7/70
G06K 9/00
G05D 1/02
A01B 79/00
Abstract:
Historical and seasonal data is obtained by an agricultural work machine. The historical data provides historical values of agricultural characteristics, which may or may not be geolocated, and the seasonal data provides seasonal values of agricultural characteristics corresponding to a current season. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts an agricultural characteristic, such as crop state, at different locations in the field based on a relationship between the historical values of agricultural characteristics in the historical data and based on the seasonal values of agricultural characteristics in the seasonal data at those different locations. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.
