Control System For Cooking Appliance During Jewish Holidays And Sabbath

View page
US Patent:
20120181266, Jul 19, 2012
Filed:
Jan 4, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/343390
Inventors:
Myron H. Frommer - Monsey NY, US
International Classification:
H05B 1/02
F24C 3/12
US Classification:
219492, 126 39 BA
Abstract:
A cooking appliance control system for use during the Jewish Holidays or Sabbath. A timer is in communication with the oven heater element programmed to provide for scheduled activations and deactivations of the element during the Holidays. Prior to the Holiday the timer is programmed, the oven is activated to the predetermined temperature, and the timer program is then activated to provide for activation of the heater element to the predetermined temperature and deactivation in accordance with the schedule during the Holiday. Additionally, a switch selectively activates and deactivates the ignition circuits of the burners. This permits, one of the gas burner heater elements to be lighted by the appliance before the Holiday when the ignition circuits are activated to provide a flame to light the other burners when the ignition circuits are deactivated during the Holiday.

Electronic Time Badge

US Patent:
59473690, Sep 7, 1999
Filed:
Sep 20, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/718268
Inventors:
Myron H. Frommer - Monsey NY
David J. Haas - Suffern NY
Assignee:
Temtec, Inc. - Suffern NY
International Classification:
G06K 710
US Classification:
233382
Abstract:
A security system is provided that includes a time dependant security badge to be worn by a person. The security badge includes a metalized reflective film having an upper surface and lower surface, the upper surface having an initial reflectivity. An oxidizing film for electrochemically oxidizing the initial metalized reflective surface to a final reflectivity after the passage of a predetermined period of time is placed in contact with the lower surface of the metalized film. The badge is illuminated with a predetermined wavelength of light and then scanned, e. g. , with a CCTV, to detect the reflectivity of the upper surface of the metalized reflective film to signal an initial security status of the person when it detects the initial reflectivity of the metalized reflective film and to signal a final security status of the person when it detects the final reflectivity of the metalized reflective film.

Thin Film Capacitors And Method Of Making The Same

View page
US Patent:
46316337, Dec 23, 1986
Filed:
Dec 23, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/812158
Inventors:
Avner A. Shaulov - Monsey NY
Stanley J. Lukasik - Hawthorn NY
Myron H. Frommer - Monsey NY
Walter K. Zwicker - Scarborough NY
Assignee:
North American Philips Corporation - New York NY
International Classification:
H01G 3075
H01G 101
H01G 410
US Classification:
361321
Abstract:
A thin film capacitor is formed of a thin crystalline electrically insulative or semiconductive substrate. With the insulative substrate a thin conductive metal layer is deposited on the substrate and a thin film of a crystalline strontium barium niobate deposited on the thin conductive metal layer so that its 2. 77. ANG. spaced atomic planes are oriented in a non-perpendicular manner to the substrate and an additional thin conductive layer is deposited on the surface of the strontium barium niobate film. When a semiconductive substrate is employed the strontium barium niobate film is deposited directly on the substrate. These capacitors exhibit a low temperature coefficient of capacitance and a high capacitance density.
