Abstract:
This optical aiming device, that is part of or attaches to a golf club grip or shaft, allows golfers to align their clubface to a predetermined target by sighting through the grip end of the golf club. By incorporating a sighting device in golf grip during manufacturing or by adding this accessory aiming device to an existing grip, the golfer's eyes, sighting device and target can all be on the same line. The device makes it possible to align the clubface to the target with a very high degree of accuracy. This device may be used during play or as a practice device to check the player's ability to aim the clubface properly. This device is particularly useful when aiming a putter to a desired target.
