About:
Real estate is a second career and I love it -- it is multi-faceted and fascinating! I find it the perfect vehicle for someone committed to professional excellence and who hates routine and monotony. Every day is different and every client brings a new perspective. Solving and negotiating unique problems that lead to the exhilaration of a win-win closing is what I strive for. Embracing change and innovation keeps life fresh!
My first career was in aerospace. With an MBA I started out in Contracts, managing multi-million international ventures. Later I crossed over to marketing and after much experience, much international travel and many promotions I ended up as Director of Strategic Planning for a major aerospace company. Having met that benchmark, I put my career on hold to raise a family. Married to a diplomat that meant a lot of uprooting and moving and adapting to new environments around the world. This experience, in addition to being wonderfully enriching, is invaluable to understanding and helping clients embarking on a move.
Consequently in both my professional and personal life I have experience in working with all sorts of people at all levels, including meeting and hosting dignatories. All of it quite different from my early life growing up in Belfast,Northern Ireland during the troubles -- an exercise in survival that taught me to be resilient and resourceful and to treasure tolerance above all else.
