US Patent:
43479308, Sep 7, 1982
Filed:
Oct 14, 1980
Appl. No.:
6/196375
Inventors:
Lenny Herrin - Elkins Park PA
Assignee:
Regent Paper Box Company - Philadelphia PA
International Classification:
B65D 2522
B65D 544
B65D 2554
US Classification:

Abstract:
A package adapted to be supported by a hook comprises a container which cooperates with a hanger capable of being readily assembled with the container. The container has an aperture adjacent the intersection of its top wall and rear wall, and the hanger has a head which projects upwardly through the aperture to provide an opening adapted to engage the hook. The hanger also has a pair of arms which extend outwardly from the head to engage along the underside of the top wall. A notch is provided in the hanger at the intersection of the head and the right hand arm for engaging a portion of the top wall after the head has been slid laterally upon release of the left hand arm from its forwardly flexed position during passage of the head upwardly through the aperture. The end of the left hand arm engages the left side wall to latch the hanger in position.

View page
US Patent:
47622725, Aug 9, 1988
Filed:
Aug 29, 1986
Appl. No.:
6/902288
Inventors:
Lenny Herrin - Philadelphia PA
International Classification:
B65D 566
US Classification:
22912508
Abstract:
A box formed from two tray-type containers. The first tray-type container is generally parallelogram-shaped and is formed from a single sheet of polymeric plastic material, including front, back, and side panels of predetermined heights and lengths. Tab members extend between and join together the side panels with the front and back panels. A connection panel extends outwardly from the unattached end of the back panel of the first tray-type container. A second tray-type container sized to fit within the first tray-type container is generally parallelogram-shaped and formed from a single sheet of polymer material, including front, back and side panels of predetermined heights and lengths. Tab members extend between and join together the side panels with the front and back panel. In forming the box of the present invention, the attaching means connect the connection panel of the first tray-type container to the base panel of the second tray-type container proximate in edge formed between the base panel and the back panel.
