Trigger Locking Mechanism With Slidable Plate

View page
US Patent:
6339892, Jan 22, 2002
Filed:
Aug 4, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/631733
Inventors:
Israel Ramos - Miami FL, 33125
International Classification:
F41A 1700
US Classification:
42 7007, 42 7006
Abstract:
A safety locking mechanism for weapons that have a trigger and a protective trigger guard. The mechanism includes a housing defining an internal space and a lateral opening through which a slidable spring biased plate protrudes and is brought out in a parallel and space apart relationship with another plate that is rigidly mounted to the housing. A headed post and a separated and removable body member are mounted to the fixed plate and receive the trigger inbetween. The body member conforms to the space between the rear of the trigger and the guard thereby immobilizing it. A locking assembly inside the housing is selectively actuated to release a latch that holds slidable plate inside. The slidable plate and the rigid plate sandwich a trigger and trigger guard to prevent access thereto.

US Patent:
6460283, Oct 8, 2002
Filed:
Oct 6, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/680914
Inventors:
Israel Ramos - Miami FL
Assignee:
Suregun Lock, Inc. - Weston FL
International Classification:
F41A 1754
US Classification:
42 7007, 42 7001
Abstract:
A security device for weapons that makes them inoperable with a mechanism that can be readily installed. A plate assembly has a locking assembly mounted thereon with a retractable tongue. A spaced apart rigid assembly mounted on the plate assembly receives the distal end of the tongue. A weapons trigger is lodged between the plate and the tongue and between the locking assembly and the rigid assembly. A user activates the locking assembly with a key to selectively make the weapons trigger inoperable and inaccessible.

Remote Control Locking Device

US Patent:
61125636, Sep 5, 2000
Filed:
Oct 2, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/165493
Inventors:
Israel Ramos - Miami FL
International Classification:
E05B 4900
US Classification:
702781
Abstract:
A remotely activated locking device for closure elements that is self-contained within the closure elements, electrically operated and reliable. An electric motor with a worm gear is meshed with a gear mechanism to control the movement of a locking tongue member. A gear member is caused to move between two angular positions. The gear member includes a perpendicularly mounted off-center pin. A pivotally mounted elongated arm is pushed by the offset pin to cause the retraction of a spring loaded tongue member. A receiver is also housed within the closure element to activate the motor. A remote transmitter sends a signal to activate the receiver that in turn creates an output for a predetermined amount of time when the code transmitted matches the code stored.
