Portable Vertical Support

View page
US Patent:
6454228, Sep 24, 2002
Filed:
May 24, 1999
Appl. No.:
09/317555
Inventors:
Frederick Bosnakovic - Uniontown OH, 44685
International Classification:
F16M 1102
US Classification:
2481771, 248169, 248171, 362190
Abstract:
A tripod having support legs which automatically open and close when the tripod is placed on a support surface and removed from the support surface, respectively, and having a self-contained battery. The tripod includes a telescopic center post, a plurality of downwardly extending support legs, a plurality of coupling links pivotally attached at one end to a bottom end of the center post and pivotally attached at the other end to the support legs, and a battery positioned within a hollow center of the center post. The pivotal attachment of the coupling links to the support legs is offset towards an outer edge of the support legs to bias the support legs outwardly and facilitate the automatic opening of the support legs. The outward biasing of the coupling links and support legs allows the support legs to close to a vertical position parallel and adjacent to the center post while allowing the legs to automatically open when the tripod is placed on the support surface. The battery is contained within the center post and includes an electrical cord extending within the center post from the battery to the top of the tripod.

Pressure Fluid Connector Assembly

View page
US Patent:
41404475, Feb 20, 1979
Filed:
Dec 12, 1977
Appl. No.:
5/859573
Inventors:
Frederick Bosnakovic - Uniontown OH
Assignee:
Vinton Industrial Corporation - Wadsworth OH
International Classification:
B29H 502
B29H 518
US Classification:
425 43
Abstract:
A pressure fluid connector assembly for a system to mold an article using heat transfer pressure fluid media supplied and exhausted through valved conduits. An article is formed in a mold cavity having an expansible pressure forming member with a media chamber. An assembly is positioned through a media chamber wall to provide concentric circulation during supply and exhaust of the media. An assembly has a nozzle body with a conical outer surface for frictional engagement with the surface of a coaxial bore of a resilient grommet adapted for mating engagement with and secure attachment to a media chamber wall. The nozzle body has a coaxial bore housing a core tube providing that media supply is transversely from the assembly and that media exhaust is coaxially within the assembly. An exhaust conduit extension having a remote intake end may be connected to the nozzle body.

Stand Selectively Usable As A Monopod Or A Tripod

View page
US Patent:
20180080601, Mar 22, 2018
Filed:
Apr 18, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/490543
Inventors:
- Mobile AL, US
Frederick Bosnakovic - Uniontown OH, US
International Classification:
F16M 11/34
F16M 11/30
F16M 11/20
F16M 11/04
Abstract:
A dual-purpose stand and method for supporting photographic equipment is disclosed. The stand is able to be used as a monopod or a tripod. A retaining device is provided on the stand. The retaining device is selectively engaged to lock a leg assembly provided on the stand in a collapsed or closed position when the stand is to be used as a monopod. The retaining device is disengaged when the stand is to be used as a tripod. When the retaining device is disengaged, the stand will automatically become a tripod when placed on a support surface. The stand's legs will automatically move to an extended or open position when the stand is set down on the support surface and the legs will automatically move back to a collapsed or closed position when the stand is lifted from the support surface.
