Tile Angle Measurement Device

View page
US Patent:
7409773, Aug 12, 2008
Filed:
Oct 16, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/582537
Inventors:
Constantine Michael Gioia - Sumter SC, US
Valeska Nunziata Gioia - Sumter SC, US
International Classification:
G01B 5/24
B43L 7/10
US Classification:
33527
Abstract:
A device for facilitating the correct measurement and placement of tiles having a transparent top plate for viewing indicia markings on bottom sliding plate, also having a channel for the setting of a rule that is angularly and spatially adjustable from the thin metal abutment edge through the loosening and tightening of a wing nut and washer attached to the ruler through said channel. Additionally the rule of the present invention is equipped with a stop which ends 1″ from its side edges for the utilization of the present invention as a guide for correct placement of tile.

Spray Bottle Reservoir System

View page
US Patent:
8322576, Dec 4, 2012
Filed:
Apr 23, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/662569
Inventors:
Constantine M. Gioia - Sumter SC, US
International Classification:
B67D 7/58
US Classification:
222377, 222382, 2223831, 2224647
Abstract:
The spray bottle reservoir system includes a bottle having a neck and a body, the body defining a main chamber for containing fluid. A spray cap is detachably mounted to the neck. A vertical partition is disposed inside the body, separating the main chamber to form a dispensing reservoir. A dip tube extends from the spray cap to the bottom of the dispensing reservoir. The dispensing reservoir may be refilled from the remaining chamber, and due to the relative small volume of the dispensing reservoir and the viscosity of the fluid, the dispensing reservoir permits maximum consumption of the fluid in a wide range of spraying positions.

Utility Knife Blade

US Patent:
20080295344, Dec 4, 2008
Filed:
Apr 23, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/081923
Inventors:
Constantine M. Gioia - Sumter SC, US
International Classification:
B26B 9/00
US Classification:
30351
Abstract:
The utility knife blade is a blade for a utility knife having a slot formed in the blade that is especially useful when scoring drywall. The slot may engage a tape measure adjacent the tape hook so that the cutting edge at the scoring tip of the blade extends below the tape measure hook to engage the sheet of drywall. The slot extends through the cutting edge into the body of the blade at a slight angle relative to normal, preferably about 10. The blade has a slot at each end so that the blade may be reversed when one end is dulled or broken. The blade has an otherwise standard configuration, typically having a trapezoidal body with a cutting edge extending along the longer parallel edge and a pair of notches in the shorter parallel edge for engaging knife holder retainer pins in the slidable utility knife holder carriage.

Drywall T-Square

US Patent:
6851201, Feb 8, 2005
Filed:
May 27, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/446209
Inventors:
Constantine M Gioia - Bay Shore NY, US
Valeska N Gioia - Bay Shore NY, US
International Classification:
B43L007/02
US Classification:
33479, 33 42, 33492
Abstract:
An apparatus for marking and scoring a work object has a first member having a first and second side. A flange is connected to a second side of the first member. A second member has a first edge and a second edge. The second member is connected to extend perpendicularly from the first member. The first edge has a plurality of crenulations extending therealong for receiving an instrument. The flange of the first member is positioned against an edge of a work object and the instrument is positioned between adjacent ones of the plurality of crenulations and against the work object. When the first member is moved along the edge of the work object, the instrument is caused to mark or score the work object along a line parallel to the work object.
