Predictive Analysis For Remote Machine Monitoring

View page
US Patent:
20120092180, Apr 19, 2012
Filed:
May 12, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/106536
Inventors:
Michael Rikkola - New Berlin WI, US
Anubhaw Bhushan - Greenfield WI, US
Shashikiran Gudur - Greenfield WI, US
Brian Raba - Douglas WY, US
International Classification:
G08B 21/00
G06G 7/48
US Classification:
340679, 703 6, 703 7
Abstract:
Methods for predicting a machine event are described. In one aspect, a method includes receiving data for current events for the machine, and determining whether the data for the current events is within operational limits. The method also includes, when the data for the current events is within operational limits, determining, using a predetermined model, whether an anomaly exists, and generating an alert including information on the anomaly when the anomaly exists. Systems and machine-readable media are also described.

System And Method For Monitoring A Brake System Of A Mining Machine

US Patent:
20140277964, Sep 18, 2014
Filed:
Mar 14, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/213637
Inventors:
- Wilminton DE, US
Shashikiran Gudur - Greenfield WI, US
Anubhaw Bhushan - Milwaukee WI, US
International Classification:
F16D 66/00
E21C 35/04
US Classification:
701 50, 701 337
Abstract:
A mining machine including a brake operable to halt motion of a component of the mining machine; a first sensor operable to sense a characteristic of the brake to generate brake data; a second sensor operable to sense motion of the component of the mining machine to generate motion data; and a controller. The controller is operable to receive the brake data and the motion data, analyze the brake data and the motion data according to a brake set model and a brake release model, and output an alert in response to an issue with the analyzed brake data or the analyzed motion data.

Systems And Methods For Monitoring A Fluid System Of A Mining Machine

US Patent:
20140236432, Aug 21, 2014
Filed:
Feb 18, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/183194
Inventors:
- Wilmington DE, US
Shashi Gudur - Oak Creek WI, US
Anubhaw Bhushan - Oak Creek WI, US
International Classification:
E21C 35/04
US Classification:
701 50, 701 339
Abstract:
A method of monitoring a fluid system of a mining machine. The method including sensing a pressure level of a fluid in the fluid system of the mining machine to generate pressure level data; analyzing the pressure level data to detect pressure level deviations; determining at least one selected from the group of when a frequency of the pressure level deviations exceeds a predetermined frequency, and when the fluid pressure level fails to reach a threshold within a predetermined reaction time period; and outputting an alert in response to the determination.
