View page
US Patent:
20200053085, Feb 13, 2020
Filed:
Jul 18, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/515700
Inventors:
- Hayward CA, US
Anirban Banerjee - San Bruno CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 29/06
H04L 29/08
H04W 12/08
Abstract:
Systems, software, techniques and apparatuses are disclosed herein for facilitating context-based possession-less access to secure information. More specifically, the systems, software, techniques and apparatuses described herein eliminate the need for enterprises to provide employees with direct access to confidential or sensitive enterprise information. Instead, the confidential or sensitive enterprise information can be indirectly provided to and hidden by an access systems used by the employees to request the information prior to being provided to a corresponding resource. Techniques For Facilitating Secure, Credential-Free User Access To Resources

View page
US Patent:
20190251293, Aug 15, 2019
Filed:
Feb 11, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/272115
Inventors:
- Hayward CA, US
Anirban Banerjee - San Bruno CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 21/62
H04L 29/06
H04W 12/06
G06F 21/31
Abstract:
Techniques are disclose herein for facilitating secure user access to resources without user-provided credentials. More specifically, the techniques described herein eliminate the need for end users to remember and provide privileged resource authentication information (e.g., credentials) at the time of resource access. The system accepts and securely stores registration information for accessing privileged resources during a registration process. As discussed herein, the registration information can include identification and authentication information for each privileged resource. The authentication process can also include registration of one or more secondary authentication devices that are used to verify the identity of the end user in lieu of the end user providing credentials.

Invisible Password Reset Protocol

View page
US Patent:
20190253428, Aug 15, 2019
Filed:
Feb 11, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/272167
Inventors:
- Hayward CA, US
Anirban Banerjee - San Bruno CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 29/06
Abstract:
Techniques are disclosed herein for facilitating invisible password reset protocols. More specifically, the techniques described herein eliminate the need for end users to have to periodically change their authentication information (e.g., password information). The mechanisms facilitate automated and invisible modification to a password without active participation by the end user. The mechanisms are made possible through the use of a credential-free or zero password login (ZPL) system. Among other benefits, the automation techniques discussed herein frequently change passwords and thus, reduce the chances that passwords are stolen and/or otherwise misused. As discussed herein, the credential-free or zero password login (ZPL) system also remembers and/or otherwise automatically provides users with authentication information (e.g., credentials) for a registered resource at the time of access time.

Transparent Proxy System With Automated Supplemental Authentication For Protected Access Resources

View page
US Patent:
20160212100, Jul 21, 2016
Filed:
Jan 21, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/002632
Inventors:
- Hayward CA, US
Anirban Banerjee - San Bruno CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 29/06
Abstract:
Techniques are disclosed herein for facilitating dynamic risk assessment and automated triggering of supplemental authentication for protected access resources. More specifically, the techniques described herein provide security mechanisms that can be triggered in response to a risk assessment determined in response to request to establish a connection between an access system and a protected resource. Alternatively or additionally, the security mechanisms can transparently monitor an authenticated connection between an access system and a resource and automatically trigger supplemental authentication based on a dynamic risk assessment. In some embodiments, a feature set of the authenticated connection and commands initiated over the authenticated connection are monitored and underlying information captured to dynamically generate the risk assessment or score. The supplemental authentication can be triggered when the risk score exceeds a risk threshold.
