Abstract:
An image registration system and methods that enables mapping of a surface's image scan, such as wound image scans, to each other for comparison and study, due to the variations in the image captures. Correspondence between two images is established and an optimal transformation between two images is determined. The two images (source and target) are either from the same scene acquired at different times or from different views.
