Abstract:
Disclosed embodiments of proposed hydrogen-oxygen and hydrogen-air engines are usable in automotive, power-producing, and other industries. The engines comprise cylinders; water dissociation units, including thermo-impact transformers and possibly electrolyzers; ionic dividers separating hydrogen and oxygen ions; injection chambers configured to inject hydrogen and oxygen/air doses in response to an operator's action and according to proposed dosing methods accounting a hydrogen-oxygen optimal ratio suitable for an explosive plasma reaction in the cylinders, increasing engines torque, eliminating/reducing pollutions. Determination of optimal ratios for hydrogen-air mixtures is also discussed. The dosing methods include algorithms for computing termination injection pressures for hydrogen-oxygen /air doses. Different hydrogen-oxygen/air delivery system are described in conjunction with modified dosing methods.

Abstract:
A monitor embodiment, monitoring overflow levels in a bathtub, comprises an input water unit, including a control circuitry, coupled to a hot-cold water facet; a water level detection unit including telescopically joined tubes with a floatable lowest tube associated with an indicator, an uppermost tube fixed to the input unit, sensors attached to non-lowest tubes variably coupled. The sensors detect the indicator's position reaching a predetermined alarm or shutoff level, causing respective initiating an alarm signal, or terminating the input unit's water flow. Another embodiment additionally comprises an output water unit associated with the circuitry, incorporating a temperature sensor and a user preset-temperature selector. The output unit outlets cooled water from the bathtub, the input unit inlets hot water until the preset-temperature is reached, provided no alarm signal was issued. An additional sensor, incorporated in the input unit, allows adding the hot water when it's hotter than the bathtub water.

Abstract:
The invention concerns devices protecting a built object against flood and excessive tidewaters. A preferred embodiment of the device generally comprises a built object, including a body (), capable of substantially vertical displacement, mounted upon displaceable footings (), which rest upon a foundation () absence flood conditions. The device comprises internal chambers (L), (R) arranged inside foundation (). Each internal chamber is connected through pipes and taps with an external chamber () collecting a non-hydraulic liquid, preferably floodwater. The device comprises directing members (), guiding said displacement, preferably made as a system of telescopically jointed snug-fitting barrels secured to the foundation and indirectly to the footings. The device comprises a number of nonfloatable lifting member units (L) and (R), each disposed inside one internal chamber. The invention is characterized in that the unit contains suitable hydraulic liquid which in conjunction with other elements of the unit are capable to seal the body of non-hydraulic liquid, preferably floodwater, confined in the internal chamber, effectively transmitting the liquid pressure to body () in the direction of said displacement, elevating body (), and protecting the built object or its parts from flood or tidewaters. Other embodiments and ramifications describe modifications of the built object, including outside walls separated from body () for substantial reducing its weight, combinations with additional floatable lifting members, using additional pump means increasing the lifting capacity, reducing the costs, controlling said displacement of body ().

Abstract:
Proposed MID-devices comprise magnetic and electro-conductive means. High winds impacts or intermittent loads actuate a relative motion of the magnetic and electro-conductive means, inducing electric current within the latter, providing a damping of said impacts or loads, providing a heating usable for warming up homes, clothes (in gloves—by clapping hands), footwear (by a walking person), etc. Some embodiments include impact absorbing insertions (sometimes comprising spring-like materials, pneumatic chambers, or bladder-panels), disposed between or within the magnetic and electro-conductive means, and returning them toward their start position. Other embodiments deploy magnetic means facing each other with the same polarity, providing said returning. MID-devices combined with the pneumatic chambers or bladder-panels produce more efficient damping. Said electro-conductive means may include flexible conducting sheets, or coils with soft iron cores usable in damping, repulsing control, and power-generating modes. Said magnetic means may be concavely or convexly shaped stabilizing said relative motion.

Abstract:
The invention concerns devices protecting a frangible object against high wind loads, described in several embodiments including cushioning means, performed as differently shaped chambers or bladder-panels, inflated by fluid, substantially compressed air, preferably enclosed into fence means, interconnected by connecting means, essentially hoses, positioned in front of and mostly attached to the outward object's surface, except where separated from the object's structure particularly protecting against vibrations caused by winds. The fence means, proposed in several combinations, preferably performed as flexible covers coupled with fence screens, protect against windborne debris. Multi-layer versions provide increased damping of wind loads and covering any part of the object's surface. Control means, controlling the damping, generally include sensor means, control valve connecting units, central control unit, regulating the fluid flow inside the cushioning means. Proposed MID-devices provide additional wind damping, also used for heater pads in clothes, footwear, producing electricity, alternative mechanical forces, etc.

Abstract:
Converters and method for intermittent forces energy conversion into electric power and damping excessive forces are presented. The converters employ various exemplified electromagnetic controllable transducers comprising multi-magnets inductors and multi-teeth armature, transforming sea wave's and wind's motion into electricity; base, impelling, and control means. The transducers are combinable with means translating the motion into linear, revolving, swinging movements. Transducer's cooling subsystems are exemplified. The base means are described, including fixed, floatable, and containing virtual vessels of variable parameters and expandable extensions. The impellers include floatable, fixed, adjustable. The control means include sensors measuring wave's and converter's parameters; control units adaptively regulating electric power production, and absorbing the excessively powerful waves' energy, depending on their changing parameters. Stabilizer-generators for base means are disclosed, comprising chambers fillable with rotating water pumped in during storms, then recuperating the rotational energy into electricity through MHD-generators. Some converters include electrolyzer hydrogen production and storage means.
