View page
US Patent:
7154445, Dec 26, 2006
Filed:
Apr 6, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/099954
Inventors:
Frederick H. Littlefield - Barrington NH, US
Adam M. Alevy - Carlisle MA, US
John R. Sanford - Encinitas CA, US
Shawn Johnson - Allenstown NH, US
Eugene MacDonald - Barrington NH, US
Assignee:
Cushcraft Corporation - Manchester NH
International Classification:
H01Q 1/12
H01Q 21/00
US Classification:
343725, 343791, 343792
Abstract:
An antenna includes a differential transmission line and a center conductor, where the center conductor is at least partially contained within the differential transmission line and at least partially protruding therefrom. A first conductive flat element is connected to the center conductor and a flat meander-line structure is integral with the first conductive flat element. In addition, a second conductive flat element is integral with the flat meander-line structure.

US Patent:
7161554, Jan 9, 2007
Filed:
Oct 27, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/974585
Inventors:
James J. Nugnes - Hooksett NH, US
Adam M. Alevy - Carlisle MA, US
Shawn W. Johnson - Allenstown NH, US
Assignee:
Cushcraft Corporation - Manchester NH
International Classification:
H01Q 1/12
US Classification:
343878
Abstract:
A bracket for securing an antenna to a ceiling grid system has a first opening to allow the bracket to be secured to a connector mechanically coupled to the ceiling grid system and a second opening to allow an electrical connection to pass therethrough. The second opening is offset a distance from the first opening to allow the electrical connection to extend upwardly without being obstructed by the ceiling grid.

Omnidirectional Multiple Input Multiple Output (Mimo) Antennas With Polarization Diversity

View page
US Patent:
8368609, Feb 5, 2013
Filed:
Jul 30, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/512969
Inventors:
Jarrett D. Morrow - Bow NH, US
Adam M. Alevy - Carlisle MA, US
Shawn W. Johnson - Allenstown NH, US
Assignee:
Laird Technologies, Inc. - Earth City MO
International Classification:
H01Q 21/00
US Classification:
343810, 343816, 343727
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments are provided of omnidirectional MIMO antennas with polarization diversity. In one exemplary embodiment, an omnidirectional MIMO antenna generally includes an array of radiating antenna elements having a linear horizontal polarization and radiating omnidirectionally in azimuth. The antenna also includes at least one radiating antenna element having a linear vertical polarization and radiating omnidirectionally in azimuth. The vertically polarized radiating antenna is spaced-apart from the array. The antenna is operable for producing omnidirectional, vertically polarized coverage for at least one port, as well as omnidirectional, horizontally polarized coverage for at least one other port.

US Patent:
20040140936, Jul 22, 2004
Filed:
Jan 13, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/756006
Inventors:
Jarrett Morrow - Bow NH, US
Adam Alevy - Carlisle MA, US
International Classification:
H01Q001/38
US Classification:
343/7000MS
Abstract:
A device and method for patch antenna with enhanced feed is provided. Generally, the patch antenna comprising: a ground plate, a patch plate parallel to the ground plate, a shorting wall, and a feed line. The shorting wall connects an edge of the ground plate to an edge of the patch plate. The feed line passes through an aperture in the ground plate and connects to two locations on the patch plate.

Omnidirectional Antenna Assemblies Including Broadband Monopole Antennas

US Patent:
20230054135, Feb 23, 2023
Filed:
Aug 4, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/880732
Inventors:
- Schaffhausen, CH
Youngha Choi - Derry NH, US
Shawn Wayne Johnson - Allenstown NH, US
Adam Martin Alevy - Carlisle MA, US
International Classification:
H01Q 9/30
H01Q 1/38
H01Q 9/26
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are exemplary embodiments of omnidirectional antenna assemblies including broadband monopole antennas. In exemplary embodiments, the antenna assembly includes a broadband monopole antenna comprising stamped and folded elements. The antenna assembly is configured to be operable with high omnidirectional pattern conformity, e.g., at frequencies from about 617 megahertz (MHz) to about 7125 MHz or frequencies from about 698 megahertz (MHz) to about 7125 MHz, etc.
